
American actor Thomas William Selleck. His breakout role was playing the private detective Thomas Magnum in the television series Magnum, P.I. He was nominated for five Emmy Awards as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series (1980-1988) in the 1980-88 season, and took home the Emmy Award in 1985. Since the year 2010, Selleck has co-starred in the role of New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan in the series Blue Bloods.
